About the event

We Broke Free and 60 Million Postcards present:

Yumi And The Weather "You could possibly pitch her somewhere between St Vincent and Prince" John Kennedy (Radio X)

Since first emerging in 2013 with the acclaimed ‘All We Can’ EP, Yumi And The Weather have spent the past few years perfecting their unique blend of electrifying technicolour psych-pop and have recently unleashed their eagerly-awaited full length self- titled album, via front woman Ruby Taylor’s own MIOHMI Records imprint. "It's cracking that, isn't it!" - Shaun Keaveny (BBC 6Music) “I LOVE Yumi And The Weather… Gorgeous” - Nemone (BBC 6Music) www.yumiandtheweather.net

Bonniesongs For a peck of audiences in Australia over the past couple of years, Bonnie Stewart (Ireland) has been one of those subtly transcendent artists. Her lilting vocals float over gentle peaks of acoustic and electronic instruments, layered ethereally into what may be a moderately enchanted loop pedal. Under the spell of thrumming guitar, Stewart renders her arrangements with a fidelity of performance that seems to amplify an almost spectral presence. This is Bonniesongs. She’ll play loudly whilst making you ridiculously aware of silence and then go some way to reminding you how music is at its most basic, mere vibration moving through air, occupying the same molecular space as the incorporeal
